Cancellation Policy.

Cancellations

Cancellations are only permitted for direct debit members (not upfront members). Cancellation of direct debit requires 14 days’ notice on a Cindy’s Dance Studio cancellation form only which can be completed at the facility. Cancellations are not accepted via email and social media, and will be approved with a Cindy’s Dance Studio employee in the facility. Once cancellation has been confirmed, one (1) additional fortnightly payments will be debited or paid. Customers should not consider the account or participant cancelled unless receiving receipt copy of the Cindy’s Dance Studio cancellation form. Members or participants will not be cancelled until any payments in arrears are recovered. Accounts will be debited until arrear amounts including any bank or administration fees have been recovered. Direct debit members will continue ongoing unless a Cindy’s Dance Studio cancellation form has been completed within the suitable notified cancellation period. There are strictly no refunds for any upfront payments made in advance. When a participant has been cancelled, they will forfeit all make-up lesson tokens or credits from the date of cancellation, which cannot be claimed or used if they re-join.

Enrollments

By enrolling, you authorise Cindy’s Dance Studio to continue class bookings and associated billing of fees year on year or until such time a cancellation form has been completed, and within cancellation terms (above). Payments will not be billed over the closure period at the end of each year excluding payments in arrears, however, payments in January will re-commence as normal the week prior to the first week of classes, and will include the New Year’s registration fee. Cindy’s Dance Studio reserves the right to change, cancel, amalgamate, move or alter classes with low participation. Changes to classes for the New Year must be completed on a membership class amendment request prior to the end of the calendar year.

Enrollments on hold or cancellation due to medical reasons

Cindy’s Dance Studio does not offer any pauses to enrollments unless there is a suitable medical reason limiting the participant from attending. A membership will be placed on hold only if a medical certificate is provided and has been approved by management only. Enrollments may only be placed on hold for a minimum of four (4) weeks or a maximum of eight (8) weeks. Enrollments may only be placed on hold in two-week blocks (aligning to debit periods). Any enrollment requiring more than eight weeks will need to cancel and re-join once ready. A medical certificate must be provided prior to billing or at the commencement of the approved enrollment on-hold. Cindy’s Dance Studio will not accept or provide any refunds, credits, or make-up lessons for medical certificates provided after a billing date or without pre-approval.
